Brass Care & Finishes

Brass is highly durable, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, though sharp objects may scratch its surface. Over time, it naturally oxidizes, especially in coastal areas, which is a normal part of its handcrafted character.

We offer two finishes:

  • Matte Black/Matte Green: Maintenance-free, retains its original look over time.
  • Polished Brass (Gold): No lacquer is applied, allowing you to restore its shine easily with metal polish and a soft cloth.

Our products are primarily crafted from solid Chamchuri wood, also known as Acacia, Rain tree, or Monkey Pod, a living, natural material.

What about cracks, knots, or splits in the wood?

Cracks, knots, holes, or splits, whether present before or after purchase are natural features of solid wood.

Can wood movement affect the furniture overtime?

Yes. Wood planks may expand, contract, or shift due to changes in weather, environment, or humidity. This natural movement is not a defect.
