Design Notes
Design Notes
Each piece is handcrafted from solid teak, a dense, naturally weather-resistant hardwood prized for its rich grain and warm honey-brown tone. Because teak is a natural material, slight variations in grain pattern, color, and texture are normal and add to each piece's individual character. Over time, unsealed or outdoor teak will gradually develop a soft silvery-grey patina, a natural process that many find adds to its beauty.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove surface debris.
- For deeper cleaning, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid soaking the wood.
- If used outdoors, apply a teak oil or sealant every 6 to 12 months to maintain the original color and help protect against moisture. Skip this step if you prefer the natural silvery patina to develop over time.
- Avoid placing in direct, prolonged sunlight indoors, as this can cause uneven fading.
- Keep away from open flame and direct heat sources, especially for lamp pieces.
- For electrical components, only clean the wood surfaces; never submerge or spray cleaner directly onto the base or wiring.
- Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood's natural finish.
